Deed of Confirmation

There is a practice of giving effect of registration to a document, which is not registered within 8 months, by executing and registering a deed of confirmation. I want to know, whether deed of confirmation, amounts to registering the document, which has not been registered?

What document you want to get it confirmed by Deed of Confirmation. Can you plz elaborate?

The document is Sale Deed which has been executed in 2005, however could not be registered. The same is now suggested to have been registered, as a deed of confirmation, confirming the sale deed has been registered.

Why don't you file the said sale deed by paying the necessary penalty. Please check with the concerned sub registrar's office.
