there is a death of a child aged 8 years .the death occurred with shocked through high high voltage wires passing through in residential area.
Is it amount to negligence on the part of Electricity board ?
Is it punishable under Section 304A IPC ?

We have to look into the matter but it is negligence on the part of the Electricity Board. you can move against them. put more facts to acertain the case

If the house is constructed under the line subsequent to laying of line, then exgratia can be claimed.

This is case of accidental death due to negligence on the part of Electricity Board. You may prosecute them under Criminal Law. Had, Panchanama carried out by the Police Dept. in this regard and there may be PM report of this deceased child , in which, the cause of death could be reported. All these facts can only amount to decide the compensation.

In addition to criminal liability highlighted
by experts ,you can also seek civil compensation for this kind of negligence on the part of the Electricity Board.
