E filing

I need to know, whether the partner of a firm has to mandatorily e file his individual return, if such firm is under audit u/s 44AB.

Is your company is LLP or registered partnership firm Kindly calrify it. The compulsory audit of accounts depends upon the income of your partnership firm.

Not required unless he has other individual income assessable under s.44AB of the Income Tax Act.

Rule 12 of the Income tax rules ,1962 does not say that a partner of a partnership firm ,subjected to tax audit under section 44AB of the Income tax Act,1961, has to file his/her return electronically.
