one of the employees krish of my friends company circulated defamatory statements about a previous employee ram to companys customers now can ram sue the company for defamation or sue krish alone

Dear Sir,
If there is any defamation against any person such person can take civil and criminal action. Criminal action can be taken by filing private complaint under Section 200 CrPC for the offence punishable under Sections 499 and 500 of Indian Penal Code.

1. Send a legal notice to said co for defamation and file a civil suit for defamation by paying court fees applicable to your compensation.2 you may file a cr.complaint for defamation in m.m.court mentioning facts and on various grounds and evidence.
