About obc certificate

Respected sir,
I m resident of up have old obc certificate of up currently reside to haryana from last 4 year.
My question is
Is it compulsory to make new obc certificate from harayana?
Can i get it from up as i already have older one from up on that basis it must be easy to make
Kindly guide cause i want it get in specific format can i get it from my origin state that is up

Caste Certificate shall be issued by your native place, i.e., UP.

For example Dhobis are certified as SC in jharkhand and up and where as in haryana and southern states they are treated as OBC. So it would be better to obtain the caste certificate from the state wher you reside now

Thanks for prompt reply sir, sir my caste comes under obc in both states. I have applied for obc from native state that is up. Kindly guide if ia there amy problem if i get the certificate from UP?
Is it compulsory to get it from migrated state

Discuss with concerned authorities where you are planning to submit and confirm with them and then proceed

Thanks shri rajkumar sir, sir actually i have asked the haryana authority for issue the certificate they said get it from up yur native place i asked the up authorities they said they will issue the certificate on basis of ealier certificate issued to u.
My only concern is i m doind right? To take the certificate from UP while living in some other state though i applied only for central government certificate and i m permanent resident of UP.

Normally such certificates are valid for 5 years. You may try to get renew it easily.
