Regarding Land

Sir , my grandfather taken money from one person , against that he put his name on my 7/12 document .
My Grandfather repay amount but forgot to delete name from land record .

Now this man put his entire family name on my 7/12.
Can u suggest me , what can I do against that person

Dear Sir,
Approach Civil Court or Revenue Court and establish that your grandfather paid the amount and get removed such names. If your grandfather not executed any mortgage etc., then it is illegal to enter such names of the opposite party.

You have to approach revenue court for deleting the names from land record.

Try to understand from LOCAL knowledgable persons known to you/counsels how the and on the basis of which documents name in enetered in revenue records say some ; PoA?
If you wish and if you can try to get authenticated copies of mutation records with all link docs and you may get clear picture.Still evidence of rerpayment of debt may be required.
The borrower (your grandfather) must have signed some document on the bais of which name was entered and must have repaid keeping acknowledgment/Full and Final payment and must have taken back the original documents that were pledged.
There must be some witnesses.
If the borrower did not sign any documents towards debt and pledged the estate then there should be no entry in reveneue records..favoring lender.

You may take help of elders of your family, competent and experienced well wishers, seasoned PIP’s, helpgroups, community leaders, NGO’s, experienced colleagues, associations, religious scholars/leaders, influnecial persons etc and find a very able LOCAL counsel/Law firm specializing in concerned filed of law e.g; Revenue/Civil matters as in your case, and well versed with LOCAL applicable rules, precedence, latest judgments etc …. and worth his/her salt, can advise you after examining all case related docs, inputs, evidences on record.
One should not fall for IT’s and entities loitering at online portals to allure unsuspecting querists. There are many threads on such instances at LCI also.
Online discussions are not substitute to in person discussions with a very able counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in concerned field of law.

Check for such counsels at LOCAL ; O/o Tehsildar, Civil Courts,HC, SC …
