encumbrance certificate means property card in maharashtra? As in property card also there is a column of encumbrance.
can you give the sample format.

Encumbrance means " liability" ( bhoja In kannada language) i think this word is Marathi.
This encumbrance certificate gives the clear picture of the liability on the property.

The Encumbrances Certificate will be issued by Sub Regisatrar under Registration Act Certifying the Regd Trasactions recorded on the proerty .

Charges/ No Charges Certificate is to be issued by the Thasildar / MRO in respect of the ChaRGES recorded under ROR Act in respectr of the Agri lands

Property Tax assessment copies will be issued by the Municipalities and Mpl Corproations - it may contain a colm encumbrances if any - it is inresct of the Mpl charges or any thing known to Municipality

Teh ROR Title & PP Book also show the encumbrances if any in a Colmn

Encbrances - laibilities / interest created by one in favour other persons /charges/ mortgages /all kinds transfers etc

I think NON ENCUMBRANCE CERTIFICATE is needed usually, not the ENCUMBRANCE CERTIFICATE.That the property is free from all legal liability. What may the use of ENCUMBRANCE CERTIFICATE.

Encumbrances Certificate with any recorded /Registered transactions and it may be with no ( Nil) Transactiosn - However it is called as Encumbrances Certificate !
