Criminal action against erring govt servants

Sir/Madam, I am into Social Work on a serious basis. I often file complaints / petitions to Municipal, Electricity, Water Works Departments against illegal constructions, encroachments and other such violations. However the Govt Officials just do some initial work and then stop taking action against such violators. Further when such complaints are escalated to higher authorities no action is taken.

My Question: Can I file a Criminal Complaint against such erring Govt Officials on grounds of Negligence or other sections of Law so that Officials will do as per duty as deemed fit to help India make a better place.

Defacto Complainant wife, filed Crl RC in High Court making the State and husband with parents as opposite parties. My query is whether High Court has powers to reverse acquittal and restore the Magistrate Court's order. Please enlighten me. If possible any citations.

Mother's right over married daughter

Sirs....my cousin sister is being heavily drugged by her husband and is endangering her life. my aunt is a widow living with my cousin brother and the victim girl is the only daughter. My aunt wishes to take the victim girl and admit her in a deaddiction center without the permission of the victim's husband. what i wish to know is whether Law allows a mother to take her married daughter to an deaddiction center and get her treated. Or does she need the consent of the husband to admit her. Please help the poor victim.

Suit against a cosmetics manufacturer

I wish to file a SUIT FOR DECLARATION AND MANDATORY INJUNCTION against a Cosmetic manufacturer who is using cancer causing chemicals in its product. Further the Company is using chemicals which are not allowed by Bureau of Indian Standards. Under which Order and which Rule(s) can I file.

Is Mandatory Injunction more suitable than Perpetual Injunction. I am following this procedure since I do not wish to go for a PIL. I cannot go through Consumer Court as I am not yet affected by the Product. But citizens of India who use this Cosmetic product may get serious diseases in future.

Please advice me.

Provision of law under specific relief act

Sirs, I have found that several cosmetic product manufacturers use certain chemicals which have been proven to be unsafe for humans. i now want to file a Suit for declaration that such manufacturers be ordered by Court to include statutory warning on their labels. I am not seeking damages or compensation. I was advised to go for a PIl, but then PILs become too long drawn and me as a Petitioner have to wait for long time for relief to come. Can you learned people advice me as to under which Section of Specific Relief Act,, I can file a Suit. Thanks in advance.

Solitary witness enough to prosecute

I was assaulted by a Police Inspector which resulted in a GREVIOUS INJURY. I filed a PCR, but police did not File a FIR but the now Court has taken cognizance under 200 CrPC. I am fighting it out by myself. Now none of witnesses have come forward to testify. So i will have to jsut rely on my Evidence and the Wound Certificate issued by the Government Hospital. Kindly help me with citations where "Solitary Witness and the Medical Certificates are enough to Prosecute the Accused". Especially when a Policeman is the accused

Is the advocate liable for prosecution..

Sirs, in one case I am facing the Plaintiff used abusive and harsh words like Criminal, Goonda elements, cheat etc etc in the Plaint, apart from false allegations about me. The Plaint was signed by the Plaintiff as well as the Advocate for the Plaintiff. I am very hurt by such words as they are false and defamatory in nature. Can I file a complaint with Police for a FIR or Bar Council seeking cancellation of enrollment of the advocate as he had signed without proper verification of the statements made by his client and countersigning such affidavits . If so, what are due sections of law which I need to approach for seeking remedy.
