Study with govt job

hello sir , i am now in govt service as a JE but i want to get degree for early promotion . Can i do AMIE now. Is this eligible as a B.TECH in technical education.

AMIE is considered as equivalent to B.Tech. You can take up the course with due permission of your employer.

You are a JE. I think you have passed Diploma in Engineering.
You can study AMIE for which you may have to intimate your controlling officer.
You can also do part time BE, for which you have to get permission from your administration.

You are already an Diploma Engineer, you must know about the equivalency of AMIE and BE/BTec, you shall not ask this type of questions here.

Agreeing with Mr Jigyasu I will just add that you may check with deptt whether they do or do not consider AMIE as equivalent to B Tech.
