Dear Experts
My cousine brothee applied for constable post in service selection board,chennai in CRPF.He is native of rajasthan. Let me mention here that it is central government post.
on 8.5.2013 written exam was conducted.
Result = qualified
24.1.2014...medical exam was conducted
Reault=qualified
he got 67%
yesterday, final merit was uploaded.
his name was not there.when he called at chennai office.
Office in charge speak in english or tamil.
so he asked me to enquire as i have little knowledge of english.
person in charge said....merit is final.why u applied here from Rajasthan?
phone was disconnected.
now they are not picking up call.we tried from many numbers.
i came to know that many candidated who scored less then him has got place in merit list.
My query is
1.what should we do now?
2.we are resident of rajasthan,have no one known there.what documents we need to have when we take any legal action.
3.from where we should hire advocate(Chennai/from Rajasthan)
4.can you suggest us lawyer regarding this?
5.With in how many days ..legal action must be taken(should we apply in group/or singally)

you are not able to explain the problem.
Whether selection was state wise.
In which state he applied ?
has anyone in that state got less marks and come in merit.

sir, CRPF is central reserve police force for the post of constable
It was all India based exam.My cousine applied from chennai region as the merit in that region goes low.He is native from rajasthan.Many of his friend got selected even though they got 47% in written exam.
During physical endurance test also..there wasnt any problem .As he did all running,push ups, chest size well.
Normally it is told on the spot to the candidate if he is not physically fit.That time it was told to him that he is fit.

Your cuisine can file application under RTI to the recruitment authority seeking all the information of selection process and after examination, if injustice is noticed, can file a Writ Petition in High Court.

whether vacancies for constable were centrally allocated or each state had a different quota.

As advised by Mr. Mallipedi Jagga Rao, you can obtain selection process information through RTI and if you feel that some injustice was done to you, a writ before the high court can be filed seeking justice.
