I am running a DC petrol pump in U.P. from 35 years. The land taken on lease and now land owner refused to renew it.Land owner tried to unauthorized controlled over my pump, records and staff and for this reason my supply stopped from 30 days. He (land owner ) blackmailing me that either I have to do partnership with him or he will shut down my petrol pump. He is a rich person and have influence over Indian Oil officials because he has already a petrol pump in same state.
Indian oil official said that "if you will not renew such land lease, you cannot run the pump and Iocl will not allow to transfer your dealership to any other land."
please tell me that can I transfer this pump in same state or city and how much distance location acceptable by IOCL, if yes then what is the procedure and how much time taken in this process ?

First go through the Dealership Agreement with the IOCL wherein all the particulars are mentioned.

It must be a necessary condition that the land must either be owned or leased in. In order to renew the same, the lease has to be there.

Now, probably there is some dispute with the land owner. If your lease agreement is terminated, then the land owner is within his rights to evict you.

Better you settle the issues with the land owner amicably.

It all depends upon the terms and conditions of the Distributorship Agreement. Why r u not consulting the Agreement with the help of a local lawyer?

Your proposal is against the reply of IOCL that "if you will not renew such land lease, you cannot run the pump and Iocl will not allow to transfer your dealership to any other land."

Land owner not agree for renew and Iocl has collusion with him. If now termination of petrol pump or surrender of dealership what is suitable action in current situation ?
