consult local lawyer, you may send a legal notice to vacate the shop.

ask him to vacate the premises by giving him clear notice and if he does not agree file suit.

You give an official notice that you are owner of shop after death of your father.

Issue receipt of rent to him and Get HIS signature also on receipt. Better to get rent by cheque in your name.

You need not a new agreement and you are land lord in eyes of law still when you do these things or you have a confirm proof that he accepted you as land lord, you give him notice to vacate.

every thing will be resolved.

Sirs,
Thank you very much all the responses.
Respected JK Agrawal saab,
If he offers me rent before 10th of this month, shall I accept it ? Or can I pursue him for agreement?
As I am unwilling to continue him, can I ask him to vacate straight away through law.

Thanking you very much.
