Motor vehicle accident claims original petition (mcop)

The decree was awarded in 2002 for Rs1250000 with interest @7.5% and subsequently reduced by 1 Lac to 1150000 in lok adalat. The transport company paid 1257000 in 2005. Major claimants were settled 6.00 Lacs and the balance was to be paid to the minor. On attaining majority petition was filed for payment. To our dismay the total matured amount of bank deposit as on date comes only to Rs 8.00Lacs. Something is missing somewhere. What is the remedy and how to go about it to get the full amount of the decreed sum with interest. Need your immediate guidance.

Total is granted 12.57 and ramainning how comes to 14?

It is not 14. 12.57 minus paid already 6.00= 6.57.Out of the balance 6.57 Court has invested in the Banks as Fixed Deposit, as one of the claimants was a minor. With accrued interest for 11 years the amount realised amounts to 8 lacs only. Apparently full amount of the balance Rs6.57 is not invested.

When the amount was not invested, it remains as Civil Deposits in court which does not fetch interest. It appears, 8 lakhs is the interest plus invested portion of amount.

What is the amount that will be paid? Why they should keep it without interest without passing on the benefit of interest. Will it also be paid along with the amount now realised from Banks?
