Matters relating sra

DEAR SIR/MADAM,
I HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED TWO HOUSES ON MY AND MY MOTHER NAME AS PER SCHEME OF SRA. NOW THE BUILDING IS READY FOR TAKING POSSESSION BUT, SOCIETY MEMBERS ARE DEMANDING THE 15 LACS FOR TAKING POSSESSION OF MOTHER HOUSE. THE REASON IS THEY ARE SAYING YOU PEOPLE ARE GETTING 2 HOUSES. IS THIS DEMAND IS CORRECT AS PER SRA LAW PROVISION? PLEASE GUIDE ME WITHOUT PAYING MONEY THE SOCIETY MEMBERS ARE NOT GIVING POSSESSION OF FLAT. THE NAME OF MY MOTHER IS ALREADY IN THE LIST OF SELECTED MEMBERS ADN WE HAVE THE RETION CARD AND ELECTRICITY BILL ON MY MOTHER NAME. PLEASE GUIDE ME ON ABOVE MATTER.

Are u referring to Society Registration Act?
If ur answer is Yes,then dear friend there is no such provision in SRA, U have also referred to SRA scheme, if that is concerning ur residential society or prepared by ur Builder/ Developer, then check its clauses with help of an experienced Civil lawyer locally.

Society can not demand money only because your mother is getting flat till there exist any agreement to the effect / concerning it.
