Dear sir
I am secretary of my society since 2 years. Our building is under redevelopment. Committee members are against the policy of builder and I don't want to be with committee members so I tried to give resignation several time but managing committee did not accept it. So my questions are :
1 how can I resign from my post ?
2 Can I called a general meeting without support of chairman and other committee members and give resign ?
3 MC are also not calling GM so that can give resignation.
4 Can I call emergency meeting for short period notice without support of chairman and other committee members ? If yes whether any resolution passed in that meeting be legal ?

Address your written resignation to the Chairman and either hand deliver it against receipt or send it per Registered Post. Keep all the records of the Society that you have in your possession listed and ready to be submitted to the Chairman on demand. It is imperative that you submit all the Society records against receipts before your resignation is accepted. It is not necessary to call a General Meeting of the Society to submit your resignation.

Your is quite a hazy description. What do you mean, "I tried to give resignation several time but committee of members did not accept it"? Have you actually submitted your resignation and what was the written resp[onse to your resignation after decision in the Executive Committee."

1. Submit copy of Resignation to the ward coop. registrar and request him to appoint Authorised Officer to appoint another Secretary via a duly called MC Meeting, under his signature & notice.
