Investigation under 498a

(Querist) 23 April 2014 This query is : Resolved
In my earlier query about filing counter case I have provided my case details. My case is in investigation stage and charge sheet has not been filed.
Since my case was filed in a different state from where i resided with my wife, the IO will mostly have few statements from my in laws and may be some recording on mobile which my wife may have recorded after instigating me in an argument.
The FIR filed by my wife is totally fabricated and false and for each and every line written by her in the FIR, I have gathered some proof to prove my innocence.
For eg. she alleged that I started physically and mentally torturing her after 1 month of marriage and she ran to save her life in aug13 after calling her brother.
I have her hospital discharge summary of july13 in which her medical history reported by her before the operation is given "no history of fever, no history of trauma, no history of weight loss or loss of appetite as per information provided by the patient".
She got an award from her office before leaving our home which says Exemplary performance for Jan 13 to June 13.
I have her hand written expenses of lakhs of Rs. much more than her salary. She lost huge money in stock market trading online which was linked to her salary account when she was on maternity leave.(again the losses were equal to 3 yrs of her salary). & many many more evidence showing that we were a normal couple and loved and cared for each other.
My question to the experts is the following
Should I approach the IO through someone and provide him with all my evidence?
Or should I personally meet him and provide the facts.
Or should I keep everything with me and produce them in the court as per the advice of my lawyer.
I have some fear that the IO may have been influenced by my in laws because he called me twice for settlement. This fear may be totally wrong also. I have no reason to believe that he is influenced but I do not want to take any risk.
Kindly provide me with your valuable suggestions.

it is always better to resolve amicably . if IO has called you twice for settlement always adopt a positive attitude and say you are willing for a settlement .engage local lawyer . show him all documents in your possession and act as pr his advice .

Sir I told the IO that I will not give divorce to my wife because I have a small child and I love my wife. I am willing for any amicable solution except giving divorce and that too without meeting my wife. No one comes forward after that. In lights of the above facts should I go and meet him with my documents or not.

you should be ready for divorce if your wife wants one . you cant force your wife to stay with you .
if you so desire meet IO with only copies of documents in your possession .
