Consumer right

(Querist) 26 June 2013 This query is : Resolved
I booked an e ticket on IRCTC, but could not travelled and filed TDR for refund.
IRCTC reverted that TDR declined as the passenger has travelled, which is false. But I have travelled on next day on diff counter booked ticket by diff train from diff boarding stn and for the same destination.
This I mentioned into my mail to IRCTC with PNR detail and they informed of opening the case again.
It is more than 120 days and there is still pending. where should I complain for this? kindly suggest me...

You may apply for details to Railways under the RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT and get details as to who travelled on the said ticket and what ID proof the said passenger (person) showed to the Ticket Examiner and also the Name and the Identity No./Roll No. of the Ticket Examiner on Duty on the said section of the Train on that date and such other particulars. With those details, you may engage a lawyer and fight out in Consumer Court for compensation, etc.,

Make reminder followed with RTI application and then to consumer forum.
