15 days notice for dishonor cheque

(Querist) 04 February 2017 This query is : Resolved
on of my friend borrowed Rs. 200000.00 (Rs two lakh) from me, a year before, 6 month earlier when i asked my money back he requested for some more time, then i agree but i asked him for a post dated cheque and a affidavit.

then he gives me a affidavit and Rs two lakh cheque of 15th jan 2017, but when i presented that cheque its dishonored.
I wanted to serve him a legal notice by self, I know that I can go to a lawyer and he will serve the notice on behalf of me, but I wanted to serve him notice for legal action myself.

So please help me by a sample notice so i can serve him a notice for period of 15 days

consult legal experts at your nearest place. Mear issueing notice is not suffecient it will sue filed before the Honourable court hence it is better to give notice through Lawyer

There is no particular format just give details of loan, that cheque was given to satisfy that liability, cheque was presented through which bank & its branch, give details of bouncing of cheque, demand payment of cheque amount by bank draft

Why do you want avoid lawyer? and to avoid a lawyer you want a lawyer's advice!! A trained professional always superior to you. Go to a lawyer of your choice and instruct him to issue a notice. a single wrong expression may turn the tables.
