125 Crpc and HMA 24

(1) My wife is getting maintenance in 125 crpc by the order of family court and has applied in high court for further enhancement of this allowance. High court has asked me to file an affedavit of my income from all sources.
(2) I have applied for divorce now and here also she has filed an application in HMA 24 for maintenance and litigation expences.
Pl tell me how these cases will proceed now.

The cases will proceed in the normal course as per the procedure laid down and applicable law.

Having filed the case, follow the orders that is being passed by the Courts and act / take appropriate action from time to time. The outcome of the case will depend upon the pleadings, defence taken, evidence produced, arguments advanced etc. etc.

Therefore, better be in touch with your lawyer and ask him for clarifications, if you have doubts on any specific issue.

Do not worry about the result of the case. Ask your advocate to defend the case with all evidences and rest leave it to the God.
