Comments on : SC Reserve order on Cauvery Issue

Good now SC is rightly takes on river water issues - one needs to appreciate 'chemical fertilizers' just guzzle fresh river water that sooner or later would one day too soon deplete all perennial rivers, if not remedial action is taken - Normal Borlag never said you go on using 'chemical fertilizers' at the drop of the hat - if you still desire more chemical fertilizers better desalinate sea water as also underground water is a solution is my considered view .

Comments on : Somnath Chatterjee defends Justice Ganguly

Things are bias against him. No girl or woman goes along even in temple or picture or marriage etc. How she could go alone in Hotel and that too in his room. I have not seen a girl visiting in a room where any one is staying. She will sit in lounge and the person will meet her there. Why and under what circumstance a woman can go alone. Women or girls go jointly and not alone. It appears to be a plot. When he was making so called advances how she could stay there and why she did not leave the room. Why she did not make report immediately to police. What was the jurisdiction of the SC on administration side to entertain such complaint? No one on earth is there who speaks Gospel truth. And in matters of sex allegations matters should be dealt with seriously not by casual reports. Something fishy sponsored by some political party and in particular by Congress.

Comments on : Lawyers divided on whether Justice Ganguly should quit WBHRC

The term used " proved misbehaviour or incapacity" in Section 23 of Human Right Act is the matter of debate in the present context. Legal issues involved to be discussed herein are as follow:- (1) whether the proved sexual abuse by the Ganguly has any concern with the term phrased above in the section itself for the ground of removal? (2) whether the term "proved misbehaviour or incapacity" includes sexual abuse before and outside the holding of office of the President of Human right commission? (3)Whether the said phraseology has only concerned with the official discharge of duty assigned thereto? (4) whether the said ground incurs even in case of previous incidents? (5) What is the parametre of the term "proved misbehavior or incapacity"? (6) Whether propriety could be taken into consideration by the executive for the removal of the Ganguly? (7)Whether the Union executive and the Supreme Court have jurisdiction in any manner to deal with the matter of removal of the Ganguly for his past proved misconduct having no concern with the official discharge of duty presently assigned?
