Section : Short title extent and commencement

1.Short title extent and commencement.-(1) This Act may be calledthe 1* * * Sale of Goods Act, 1930. 2*[(2) It extends to the whole of India 3*[except the State ofJammu and Kashmir].] (3) It shall come into force on the first day of July, 1930.
