Section : POWER TO ACQUIRE A PROTECTED AREA

SECTION 20C: POWER TO ACQUIRE A PROTECTED AREA
- If the30[Central Government] is of opinion that a protected area contains an ancient monument or antiquities of national interest and value,30[it] may direct the30[State Government] to acquire such area, or any part thereof, and the30[State Government] may thereupon acquire such area or part under theLand Acquisition Act, 1894-, as for a public purpose.]
