Section : Undisbursed or unclaimed amounts to be deposited to the generalrevenue account.

27. Undisbursed of unclaimed amounts to be deposited to the general revenue account. Any money paid to the Commissioner which remains undisbursed or unclaimed for a period of 2*[three years from the day on which the last order for disbursement was made], shall be transferred by the Commissioner to the general revenue account of the Central Government; but a claim to any money so transferred may be preferred to the Central Government by the person entitled to ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Ins. by Act 57 of 1986, s. 18 (w.e.f. 1-5-1973). 2 Subs. by Act 22 of 1978, s. 18, for certain words (w.e.f. 27-5- 1978). 353 such payment and shall be dealt with as if such transfer had not been made, the order, if any, for payment of the claim being treated as an order for the refund of revenue.
