Section : Short title, extent and commencement.

THE COMPULSORY DEPOSIT SCHEME ACT, 1963 ACT NO, 21 OF 1963 [22nd May, 1963] An Act to provide in the interest of national economic develop- ment for compulsory deposit and for the framing of a scheme in relation thereto. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fourteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1.Short title, extent and commencement.(1) This Act may be called the Compulsory Deposit Scheme Act, 1963. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date1* as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
