THE WAR INJURIES (COMPENSATION INSURANCE) ACT, 1943 ACT NO. 23 OF 1943 [2nd September, 1943.] An Act to impose on employers a liability to pay compensation to workmen sustaining war injuries and to provide for the insurance of employers against such liability. WHEREAS it is expedient to impose on employers a liability to pay compensation to workmen sustaining war injuries and to provide for the insurance of employers against such liability; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 1. Short title, extent and commencement.
