Section : Short title and extent.

THE RUBBER ACT, 1947 ACT NO. 24 OF 1947 [18th April, 1947.] An Act to provide for the development 1*[under the control of the Union] of the rubber industry 2*. WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the development 1*[under the control of the Union] of the rubber industry 2*; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 1. Short title and extent. (1) This Act may be called the Rubber 3* Act, 1947. (2) It extends to the whole of India 4*[except the State of Jammu and Kashmir].
