Section : Short title and commencement.

THE UNIVERSITY OF ALLAHABAD ACT, 2005NO. 26 OF 2005[23rd June 2005.]An Act to declare the University of Allahabad to be an institution of national importance and to provide for its incorporation and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-1. Short title and commencement.-(1) This Act may be called the University of Allahabad Act, 2005.(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act.
