Section : Short title.

THE DELIMITATION ACT, 2002 ACT NO. 33 OF 2002 [3rd June, 2002.] An Act to provide for the readjustment of the allocation of seats in the House of the People to the States, the total number of seats in the Legislative Assembly of each State, the division of each State and each Union territory having a Legislative Asse bly into territorial constituencies for elections to the House of the People and Legislative Assemblies of the States and Union territories and for matters connected therewith. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Delimitation Act, 2002.

Can we go to court to freeze the delimitation of constituencies.

Is this act is a punishment to the people who control the population in its society. Will one day our government declare new loksabha and assembly seats in accordance with the population.
