Section : Saving powers of Government.

8. Saving powers of Government. Nothing in the foregoing provisions of this Part shall be deemed to affect the power of the Government of Punjab or Haryana or the Administrator of the Union territory of Himachal Pradesh to alter, after the appointed day, the name, area or boundaries of any district or other territorial division in the State or Union territory, as the case may be. 774
