Section : Power of Central Government to make rules.

55. Power of Central Government to make rules. - (1) The Central Government may, by notification, make rules to carry out the provisions of this Act.(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-(a) the manner of election and nomination in respect of members to the Council under sub-section (2) of section 12;(b) the terms and conditions of service of the Presiding Officers and Members of the Tribunal, place of meeting, remuneration and allowances to be paid to them under sub-section (3) of section 16;(c) the procedure of inquiry and submission of report by the Disciplinary Committee under sub-section (2) of section 26;(d) the procedure of inquiry by the Prosecution Director under sub-section (2) of section 27;(e) any act or omission which may be determined as professional misconduct under section 31;(f) the procedure to be followed by the Board in its meetings and discharging its functions under section 45; and(g) terms and conditions of service of the Chairman and Members of the Board under section 46.
