The declassified confidential documents pertaining to Operation Bluestar have sparked controversy over the alleged help from the British Government by the Indira Gandhi government, to carry out attacks on the militants at the Golden Temple, in the year 1984.
The documents were released by the National Archives in London under the 30-year declassification rule.
 
British Prime Minister Mr. David Cameron has ordered an ''urgent'' investigation into the issue.
