is it mandatory that the wife should keep crying , shedding tears and resign from job that she gets due to her qualification if she undergoes mental torture from husband??

assumi ji according to you the wife has to prove that she is thrown out of house bt there are such cunning people in the society that they plan every thing n talk sweetly, n make some excuses & by themselves leave trheir wives or daughter-in-law at her parents place.plz give some inputs on this.

Yes, I  agree with the comments of Nimita Singh.   There are instances when wives have been tactfully persuaded to live with their parents for sometime  for one or the other reason and thereafter proceeding against them for desertion of matrimonial home by cunning husbands & inlaws.   Therefore, while the alimony related SC judgements are fit in apt cases where the wife actually deserted the matrimonial home,  one should deeply probe into the incidents of desertion to ensure that innocent wives are not thrown out  from the matrimonial home by citing  "desertion"  which in fact was well planned and administered by the husband/in-laws on unsuspecting wives.
