Will made in 2005 , can the same be registered now

Sir,

My Client is in possession of her will made in 2005 which is duly notarized but not registered. However she wants to get the same will registered now . Can the same be done.

For registration of the will executin of the will should be present before the sub registrar, in her absency it cannot be regd.,,

A Will of a person need not be registered as it is not a compulsorily registerable document. Even unregistered will is valid. The will can be presented for registration only by the executor of purse only during his life time.
