what will be the legal issue in this case?

I have an online portal to which I invite customer to bid for various products if there bid is either the lowest or highest for product they will win the product (and pay close to but less than the MRP of the product) will such a scheme be considered illegal under the lotteries Regulation Act?

what ll be the Legal Issue in this case?

Just until the state Govt or central govt. does not declare it illigal or prohibited you can continue with the scheme.

However you need to have proper registration and objective of scheme, wheatjer it is for bussines or entertainment.

You need to keep proper track of accounts and payment of tax

Two years ago, the Supreme Court allowed the state governments to ban sale of lottery. It refused to recognise the right to sell lottery as fundamental right. Now, barring 13 states, sale of lottery is banned at other places.

I doubt that your online bidding falls under the sales of lottery tickets; 

I think it falls under e- contracting...
