what after fir

the online fraud belongs to vasai, Mumbai. aggrieved party is in assam . so after filing fir by latter with proof prints of chat history & transaction history, what might be happening next? & how will Mumbai police catch the thief after serving notice? in how many days notice might reach Mumbai from Assam? how much total fees might be spent in Assam with police?
