My father left a house without any will. Now we are three legal heirs, myself, my sister and my grandmother
My sister lives in a different city with her husband since last 20 years, but still she is asking for her share in this house
Still the house is in name of my father. My mother wants to transfer her share in my name
So if we want to transfer my mother share in my name, can we do it by gift deed or any other paperwork (the house is still not on name of anyone) ?
Or
Do we need to first get the names included in Patwari list (we don't want to do this because we hope that tomorrow may be my sister will agree not to take her share, and we will then prepare a duplicate will and get everyone signed. This will save our registry expenses)
What should we do ?
