Succession

Mr X deserted his wife and 3 children for about 15 years. Wife staying with sons. Wife is retired and getting pension. Wife tried to meet Mr. X seveeral times but he refused to accept her.  Mr. X had purchased a flat in his name after he deserted his family.  Now after the death of Mr.. X, whether his wife can inherit the flat?  How to ascertain whether Mr. X had made a will in respect of his flat?  Can Mr. X change the name of his wife in his pension papers during the existence of his wife? Can his wife claim family pension?

Thanks for the suggestion and advice.

The wife can inherit her husband's property and get his family pension. Whether he has made any will or not can be ascertained from his near and dear ones to whom he could have disclosed these things.
