I had filed a section 9 case against my wife one year back. And I have still not got a result in this case since my wife do not come on dates. What should I do to get a result. Can't I get a exparte decision in this case?

What should you do to get a result..? You should talk to your lawyer and depending upon the stage of the case proceed with the case further. The case doesn't stop for a party who choose to remain absent. Yes, you can get an exparte decree in a S.9 HMA case.

But lawyer says it depends on the court he cant do much in this. Till now court has given five dates and my wife was not present on any of the dates. Is not it enough for the court to give the ex parte decree.

Next date you will get ex-parte decree. Or apply to high court for quick disposal of your case.
