Rti reply for nris

Sir- I want to file a RTI request with a non life insurance company.I am an NRI residing in US. I filed the RTI request online by sending an email directly to the concerned PIO along with attaching the online fee paid,(ePIO receipt)for NRIs? Can I request the PIO to scan and send me the reply to my EMAIL address only instead of sending it to my physical address in India .will the PIO abide by this?..or will they go only by mailing it physically,in case if any rules states it? had anyone got the RTI reply in email?
