I am a Second year Student of Law in MGM College (B.L.S./L.L.B).
One of my friend approached me for a solution on a property issue mentioned in next para. I do not wanted to mis-lead / mis-guide him, with my insufficient knowledge in the said matter hence Seek your advice on the issue mentioned herein below;
My friends Father was the owner of a flat which is in a co-operative housing society. He passed away seven years back, leaving my friends mother, his brother and one sister. My friends father has not mentioned details of nominee while flat registration and hence they are now facing difficulty in getting it transferred in my friends mother name.
Request you to suggest as what are the steps that need to be followed for transferring the flat in my friends mother name.
Please assist / help.
