Property registration with forged signature

A property broker who came to us to buy our property has now used a fake signature to register the property under his name. The registration officials completely support him , since i think they must have taken some money. What should be our options to defend from this false registration ? Any help is appreciated

Appeal before the District Registrar, in the mean time you can also lodged criminal case of forgery against the Broker and others for conspiracy to defraud you.

There seems to be some error in writing the problem. Otherwise, if you have sold a property and received your money, then it does not matter who the purchaser was. If he has forged the signature it will be good for you as you can get the property back.

If the broker has duped you then you can file a criminal case. But if the buying party is ok then you may go ahead with the deal. You can also approach the registrar and inform him about this with relevant proof.

Remember you cannot allege something but need to prove it.

S Jadhav
