Power of attorney

Younger brother has given the power of attorney to his elder brother, after a period of time, younger brother wants to sell of his share of lands, finds out that elder brother has transferred  the property to his wife name..

can younger brother go ahead and cancel the power of attorney, in that case that sale becomes null and void... or how does one go about this

What is the purpose of your self giving the POA to your elder brother. The sale or Transfer to the elder brother's wife would be legal. You could file a Breach of Trust petition against your elder brother .Consult a Lawyer.

You can go ahead and revoke the POA, but the sale deed cannot be contested.

If there was a transaction over the property on which POA was given, it is deemed to be a valid transaction, cancelling the POA will not make the transaction null and void.
