Power of attorney

Sirs,

Our father, due to our(one son, one daughter) non availability (out of town)  on June'13 had conveyed our ancestral property through  sale deed and got registered too, with our  previous consent. 

Now(july'31) we want to RATIFY that sale to leaglise the same

What is the proceedure ? Please guide us.

through power of attorney document can get the work done.

Thanks Ramacharry sir  but is it legally valid if we execute a power of attorney for a transfer of property which has already  happended before  the execution of that power of attorney? or else i put my question in other words  ie. can we give power of attorney for an executed transaction?.
