postal department: How long they keep the registered post re

The Registered post can be held for seven days in serving post office.

Before enactment of RTI act the post department has already giving details of proof of service.

first a send a letter quoting the RPAD No.-- post office ----date of post-- address of  recipients

Within fifteen days the S.P. of concerned division will give the proof of delievery
