Tax paid receipt is not conclusive proof because any one can go and pay tax they don't ask them R u owner and have possession over property.there duty is to collect tax and give tax paid receipt .it doesn't give u any right.any one who other than owner pays electricity bill,water tax,vehicle tax cannot claim right on that basis.law is not so simple.
