Please tell approximate maintenance

if husband is earning 50K per month and He has responsibility of his younger brother (age 15 , standard 10th), younger unmarried sister( age 23) and his mother . he is only person working in family . his father expire 5 years back who was not in good service. mother is getting 1K pension per month. he is staying in other city not with his family and family is staying in other city. He will be completly responsible for brother education and sister marriage.

wife is B Ed (graduate) what will be approximate maintenance amount in this situation

no fixed formula is there. but according to above mentioned details husband can show liabilities of brother,sister and mother and self expenses of about 20,000 then some tax and other deductions of about 7000 per month then maintenence will be decided on remaining 23,000 and wife may get one third (roughly)of that i.e. about 8000. Courts will consider other factors as well like her qualification and her previous job status and reasons for desertion/separation as case may be.

 

As wife had done B.Ed she may get job and if she joins any lob then later on if you manage to prove that she is working then she wont get maintenence.
