Overdraw penssion

Dear Sir/Madam.

My Father was retired from Govt Job. on 2004 (RPF) Railway Protection Force.

and drwing pension from Syndicate Bank.

Last month (August 2015) we come to know that bank is paying excess pension since 2004.

Now bank stop drawing amount from my father's A/c. and want to recover excess payment paid since 2004.

This is very much horrible to us. to pay this huse amount.

Pension Get in August 2015 was 16500/-

revised pension get Sept-2015 was 10500/- there 6000 Rs. Diff. per month

Please suggest us what can we do.

as paer latest supreme court judgment, the recovery is bad and you should be given an opportunity of hearing before effecting recovery. by adding the Bank and your department, file a petition before the CAT/High Court and request to stay the recovery, without any further delay.

It is not reduction of pension but recovery of excess amount paid in last 11 years. When your father was getting more pension he never informed anyone. At the most, he can ask the bank to recover the amount slowly and gradually
