Nominee has right to get clain after second marriage.

If Nominee got second marriage after owner died. Has nominee right to clain insurance of owner.

  1. A nomination does not lay down any special rule of succession of a deceased person overriding the general rules of inheritance prescribed by the personal law of the deceased person.

and the query was responded.

 

Nominee can file the deceased claim.

Nominee is just the hand to receive the proceeds and has to pass on the proceeds to legal successors/heirs.
