I have a flat which is currently not occupied and vacant in a society which is yet to be formed. The last phase of this society is still under construction and is under the builder. The maintaince amount for 1 year was collected during giving the possession of the flat. After that the maintaince amount is being collected quarterly , by charging amount per sq.feet. Since all the flats are not occupied (as the last phase work is in progress), the maintaince amount per flat has increased.
I had the following query:
Does one has to pay the complete (full) maintaince amount even if the flat is not occupied and is vacant ? I understand that certain amount has to be paid (eg: x % of the total maintainance amount) which i think is reasonable.Experts kindly confirm.
