Though I am not able to provide any law references, can provide this inputs.


1. Leave availed in case of illness as per ESIC Act / ID Act.


2. Earned leave (1 day for every 20 working days) as per Factories Act


3. Public / national holidays of 10 or 11 as per the states regulations.


4. Leaves provided under Negotiable Instruments Act


are the mandatory leaves which the employer has to provide.


Experts, pls provide further info on this.
